北京時間7月5日消息，亚冠亞足聯執行委員會今天正式批準了競賽委員會的决赛决胜决赛建議，將 2021年的起改亞足聯杯和 2021年的亞冠聯賽（從四分之一決賽開始）的淘汰賽階段比賽從目前的主客場兩回合製改為單回合製。

亞冠的为单为单四分之一決賽和半決賽將分別在東亞和西亞以賽會製的方式集中進行，決賽則於11月23日在西亞舉行（同樣單回合製）。回合

此外，同样下賽季的场定亞冠和亞足聯杯將會繼續以集中賽會製的方式進行，淘汰賽形式也將繼續沿用單回合淘汰製。胜负
