4月14日，曝老據足球記者消息，将王加入教前黃海隊隊長王棟掛靴退役，栋正队教加入淄博蹴鞠教練組擔任助教。式退

張強在微博中寫道：“40歲的淄博王棟掛靴退役！目前已進入淄博蹴鞠教練組，练组以助教的任助身份輔佐主教練黃宏毅。”

青島隊於1月27日官宣，曝老隊內三位老將王棟、将王加入教姚江山、栋正队教殷亞吉已經離開球隊。式退其中球隊上賽季的淄博隊長王棟在效力黃海期間發揮出色，尤其是练组2019賽季為球隊衝超立下汗馬功勞。
